Race Day Safety Protocols

We are ready to see you all cross the finish line again! In conjunction with the City of Pearland, we are moving forward with the planning of a live, in-person half marathon & 10K on Sunday, March 21, 2021.
Your safety is our priority and we appreciate your understanding as the plans continue to evolve. If you have any questions regarding our protocols, please contact us. There will be limited registrations, so register today before spots fill up! |

Start Line• Starting time windows will be assigned and limited in capacity.
• Please do not come to the start line before your assigned window. • Runners will engage in a staggered, rolling start to maintain distancing. • Each runner must wear a mask (provided in runner packet) from his/her car to the start line. • Spectators are not allowed at the start area. |

Course & Aid Station• Trash cans for mask disposal will be available at the half mile mark.
• Runners may drop their mask at that point or continue to wear it. • Runners are encouraged to remain 6’ apart from other runners. • Tables will be spaced out. • Cups will not be passed out to runners. • Individual bottles of water and Gatorade will be provided for each runner for touchless aid. |

Finish Line• Finish chute will be split to minimize congestion.
• Masks will be provided to each runner immediately upon finishing. • Runners must wear a mask, maintain social distance, and exit the finish area quickly. • Spectators are not allowed at the finish area. |

I would like to switch from virtual to live!
If a person want to go from virtual to live, they will only have to pay the difference in the registration fee. Contact us to swap.
I'd like to switch from live to virtual.
If a person chooses to go from live to virtual, they will NOT be reimbursed the difference. Any participant can defer to 2022 at no cost. Contact us to swap.
When is the final date to switch?
Participants must make their final decision on which event they’d like to participate in by March 1,2021.
If I sign up for the live event and it gets canceled, will I have the option to go virtual?
All participants will have the choice to participate virtually or defer to 2022.
